Even the zebras did a good job. Our defense was really good.

Zebras forgot to bring the gumbo. La Tech could have covered the spread if they hit their FT% average.

D was great. Satterfields block was big.

There is hope for the 3 game in 5 day stretch. We played the bench (Maring, Kalu and White) and didn't get burned. The only regret was Agnew who got scolded by CJG and eventually came back in to provide good defense.
Next up is a beatable Southern Miss. No let down allowed!

These two battled hard as hell. As the color announcer said during the 2nd half of the game, they will both need a much needed ice down. This was a tourney play type game.

Yes, this is a good win. La Tech is top 3 in CUSA, not just western division. D plan on Lofton was good. Perimeter D was much better. Rebounding when needed. Then this is a rivalry game, no where near NMSU level, but a fierce rival.

My previous comment regarding Bonke was harsh. So ****ing happy to see him get 5 and 5 in only 9 minutes. He's not there yet but he was solid tonight when we really, really needed someone to step up with TV in foul trouble.

I actually like that Lofton's blown defensive rebound resulted in Bonke getting the ball for the easy shot

Lofton fouls about 8 times per game and gets away with it

Had a long Wednesday night and an early thrusday work day. Crashed out after work yesterday. It's good to wake up and see UTEP took care of business on the road against a team we have struggled against.
