Yeah a vote will always be 'No'. The admin would need to integrate a dedicated fee into tuition as athletics are part of the University fabric and portfolio. I think 2.5-5% or $125-$250 per semester per student is fair.
It can’t be a flat rate like $100 or $200 per semester of whatever. Has to try and be slipped in there at a per credit hour rate.
That would be nice if that can be accomplished. That would generate around $3-6 million a year.
Not going to happen with El Paso’s mind set. We want he best but refuse to pay for it. Don’t know how or if it will ever change.

That's why it needs to be ushered in instead of put to a vote. It won't make students stop coming to UTEP.
Exactly. Putting this type of fee to a vote is guaranteed to fail. Add the fee and people will bitch and complain and forget about it over time.
Yup. start it out small. $1 per credit hour, if no one complains, go to $2 per credit hour, so on and so forth.
