I hope you guys are right about him picking UTEP. Just watching his tape gets me excited. An athletic rim protector is something The Miners haven’t had in a very long time. I know this is wishful thinking, but would this open up the possibility for Terry to play Ezeagu at C and Odigie at PF, thus allowing Thomas to play a little SF and face up and drive to the basket? Someone here made the comment that he said he played facing the basket in HS so maybe that would be a more natural fit for him. I know that playing true freshman at your 4 and 5 is probably very difficult since they probably need to develop and depth would be a serious issue too.

I think CRT could do that in short bursts, but we have no depth on the front line right now and fouling could be an issue. Right now I imagine Odigie backing up Ezeagu at center, and PT remains at PF. The biggest need after Eze signs is another PF to push or backup Thomas. Another option could be a strong SF to go in between Thomas and Stroud. Either way, we need one more forward IMO.

I agree 100%. Depth at the 4-5 position is a serious issue as it stands, even if you have Ezeagu and Odigie.

New transfer on the market. Smart kid and he is from Cali. At lot of schools will be after him. Sitting out 2018 and will then be a graduate transfer.

Last day of late signing, we got three 3 star kids plus Evans who will probably start in a 3 guard set along with Gilyard and Osborne and Magee and Hawkins coming off the bench. If we get Eze and another Big transfer down the line before the year starts we should be ok. Hoping we also get Fresno kid to replace PT for next year.

Yes I did! I said we got three 3 star recruits that includes Efe. Then I went on to mention the guard situation and what we still need as far as Big Men. I didn't mention him by name, but he's included in what I was speaking of.

This has been an absolute "thrill ride". What Terry and his guys have done in this brief amount of time is phenomenal and it's not over yet. Don't Know how I can wait till November to see all the pieces fit together, I'll just have to do my best. It already looks like a big job to pick a starting five. Interesting possibilities.

Getting Tarke and Williams, even though they will need to sit out the year, would put us in a good spot 2 years from now. Williams is a sure fire plug and play all conference level player. Need a couple of interior guys for next year. A grad transfer or two would fit nicely. Getting Ezeagu is huge; great upside.
