I've noticed very few D-line and O-line offers compared to WR and ATH/RB...A shotgun approach does get your name out there. Throw out offers in every direction and see what hits. This new staff is showing a lot of energy in that regard. I wonder how much follow up they have on offers. Do the coaches have a list of specific athletes or specific positions they are recruiting heavily? Are they following up on their offers to let the athletes know they are really wanted here and it's more than just a shotgun style offer? Any thoughts on that? But it is good to see this new staff hit the ground running. Go Miners.
Maybe he's following the Prime Time pattern. Go after skill players 1st and then shore up the line with subsequent classes. If we start off fast and then fall on our face, this will probably be the reason.I've noticed very few D-line and O-line offers compared to WR and ATH/RB...
He needs to eat a few hamburgers. Height is good, but he weighs as much as a Mexican plate at Kikis.
The ocean is trying to eat California right now. I wouldn't recruit there either.I just noticed this is the first recruiting class that there is no California commit.
They all moved to texas lolThe ocean is trying to eat California right now. I wouldn't recruit there either.
I think we need a class for the “Walden’isms” used in recruiting that I was not even aware of😝.

In fairness, guys that go to military schools want to pursue a military career.Lost one.
Many transfer out. Kugler beat out Army for a recruit but I can’t remember his name?In fairness, guys that go to military schools want to pursue a military career.
Looks like he’s making UTEP open up the check book.Didn’t know where to put this, but interview starts at 1:18 in. Little tidbit was new locker rooms G5 worthy.
Utep won't win this one but it will help with building uteps brand.
It may be hard to land a kid like him, but I like Coach Walden’s approach of offering these type of players. It helps get UTEP’s name out there. It’s all about name recognition. I also like seeing Coach Walden doing interviews with radio stations outside of El Paso.
I’m not holding out much hope but it’s nice to see UTEPs name amongst some big schools.
