So that's only 2 CUSA teams to win road swings. UTEP and Jax State. Like Train said, it's wide open.JSU just beat NMSU

I think Braswell was right, I think he ran out of gas, which is kind of disturbing. We'll take the win. I still don't see what Golding see's in Hebb. Play Jones more.
Smart arse.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also, I swear I thought I heard he gets in the dog house or does in game pendejadas like almost getting a T tonight.I think Braswell was right, I think he ran out of gas, which is kind of disturbing.
Jones did get winded for sure, but that is as active he has been on both ends since he has been at UTEP. He was a big reason they were able to make there comeback and win despite getting beat up on the boards once again. Also, I swear I thought I heard he gets in the dog house or does in game pendejadas like almost getting a T tonight.
Hebb played 13 more mins than me and we both ended up with the same amount of rebounds, assists and three pointers made.
He did have 5 more fouls though 😉Hebb played 13 more mins than me and we both ended up with the same amount of rebounds, assists and three pointers made.
I don't think Sam Houston can win the conference this timeAnyone can win the conference. Anyone.
2 steals, though.Hebb played 13 more mins than me and we both ended up with the same amount of rebounds, assists and three pointers made.
Meant conference tournament. Sam Houston has a lousy record, but has lost a bunch of close games. CUSA has a ton of parity this year from top to bottom.I don't think Sam Houston can win the conference this time
No doubt. As of now, LaTech and WKU occupy the 7 and 8 spots. Who wants either one of those guys as their potential first opponent in the conference tourney?Meant conference tournament. Sam Houston has a lousy record, but has lost a bunch of close games. CUSA has a ton of parity this year from top to bottom.
Why would you say that?Doesn't matter. Golding sucks, will screw up a wet dream, and NEEDS to be fired.
Because fans are stupid as hell these days and unrealistic and oblivious to things aroundWhy would you say that?
Does anyone really believe CUSA is the 8th best conference? How many power schools did CUSA beat OOC?I’m still holding my breath and not sure if Golding will have us dancing this year, but at 15-5 and tied for 1st place we can complain all we want, but at least early on we’re in contention for a title. Not much separates the top 8 teams in the conference. It’s gonna be a battle night in and night out. Louisiana Tech seems to have righted the ship and NMSU has lost 3 in a row. I’m just gonna enjoy it, cause the games should be exciting and stressful. It sucks it’s a one bid league, I could argue that there are at least 2 bid worthy teams as the 8th toughest conference once it’s said and done, but we know that won’t happen. Let’s enjoy the ride and see what happens.
Kane it doesn’t matter your opinion or your thoughts or anything like that. The numbers say it is so who cares!I haven’t looked, but I know at least one or two. However in years past the MWC didn’t have many power school victories, but had 5 or 6 top 100 teams in conference and would beat up one another. Like I stated it’ll be a 1 bid conference, but CUSA is no. 8 whether you like it or not lolDoes anyone really believe CUSA is the 8th best conference? How many power schools did CUSA beat OOC?
Probably the best you can say about CUSA this year is that, by and large, the conference hasn't lost games it had no business losing. Which is an improvement, since it hasn't always been that way.Does anyone really believe CUSA is the 8th best conference? How many power schools did CUSA beat OOC?
Well if you break it down to Quad wins, then these are the numbers CUSA vs American:Probably the best you can say about CUSA this year is that, by and large, the conference hasn't lost games it had no business losing. Which is an improvement, since it hasn't always been that way.
We're rated higher than the American, allegedly. The AAC has more good wins than CUSA by a large margin, but it also twice as many bad losses.
We have a bunch of average to above average teams, but no high end teams and no absolutely awful teams.
I know without looking that Kennesaw State beat Buttgers.Does anyone really believe CUSA is the 8th best conference? How many power schools did CUSA beat OOC?
And someone beat Kansas St.I know without looking that Kennesaw State beat Buttgers.
Yes they beat Rutgers at home. Rutgers is currently 10-10 and 3-6 in Big Ten play.I know without looking that Kennesaw State beat Buttgers.
That’s fine we just answered the question and again who cares what you think the numbers say CUSA is number 8!Yes they beat Rutgers at home. Rutgers is currently 10-10 and 3-6 in Big Ten play.
Liberty beat Kansas St on a neutral court. K St is currently 8-11 and 2-6 in Big 12 play.
These are the only power conference wins the “8th best conference” could come up with?
That’s fine we just answered the question and again who cares what you think the numbers say CUSA is number 8!
Exactly. Whatever ranking where CUSA is ranked 8th, isn’t the only metric the NCAA uses in seeding or selecting teams. They’re going to see the conference didn’t beat anyone. Only fed on garbage teams and didn’t have any bad losses. And yet, why does it matter? We all know CUSA is a one bid league unless someone wins out starting this week. And even then...
Exactly. That’s the point that seems to be overlooked. It’s obvious CUSA is a one bid league. Aside from the anomaly year, which this isn’t one of them. However, come conference tournament time, not sure I’d feel overly confident playing any of the top 8 teams. The moral of the argument is that yes it’s a one bid league as I stated. The unfortunate part is it’s probably the most balanced and tough the league has been in awhile. The reason why yes it matters, is because Utep will have a battle week in and week out and the Tourney’s any of the top 8s to lose.
Exactly! Any of the top 8 teams in CUSA would probably be the best team in any of the low mid major conferences so excluding MWC, AAC, MVC,WCC and A-10. MAC and Sun Belt I still think any of the top 8 are competing for a championship and probably number 1. Any other league one of the top 8 are winning. I think the Utah Valley was an anomaly and Utep would win 7 out of 10 times against them. I also think if Utep were to play San Jose St. now we would win. However all that doesn’t matter and Golding will be judged on making the tourney. If he doesn’t we have to make a change to a coach that can recruit to a higher level before going to a league that will have a better shot at getting multiple bids.Exactly. That’s the point that seems to be overlooked. It’s obvious CUSA is a one bid league. Aside from the anomaly year, which this isn’t one of them. However, come conference tournament time, not sure I’d feel overly confident playing any of the top 8 teams.
