For bowl eligibility, do JSU and SHSU count as FBS or FCS?

They are in the process of transitioning from FCS to FBS.

Usually, only one FCS game may count towards bowl eligibility.

UTEP is already playing one FCS team in UIW (which is ranked 3rd in the preseason FCS coaches poll and will probably be one of the 4 toughest opponents UTEP faces this season).

I'm just trying to understand how many games UTEP needs to win to be eligible for a bowl game, particularly if they manage to win against all of JSU, SHSU, and UIW. Could UTEP actually require 8 wins to be bowl-eligible?

Ranking current QB's on the roster

Since I live 1,300 miles away from El Paso, I don't have a chance to catch practices/games, but for those of you that are there, I'd like to hear what you think of the current QB's on the roster as we go through fall practices. Besides GH, I've not seen anyone else who's currently on the team while at UTEP. I have seen Jake McNamara play here in TN a number of times and he was mighty impressive on and off the field. For an undersized QB I love his character, football intelligence, quickness and strength.

OT: Suggestions to improve Red Sands

Ive never been to Red Sands. But i think its a wasted Gold Mine for El Paso, it should not be used for RTVS and off roading.
You dont see New Mexico letting people go off roading at White Sands.
Red Sands should be protected like how New Mexico protects White Sands.

I didnt know Red Sands was a acient sea. Where is Max Grossman why isnt he fighting to protect Red Sands??

"Thirty four million years ago, the entire area used to be under an ancient sea and you'll come across plenty of fossils. Since it's open year round, this is an attraction you don't want to miss. With Off-Road Adventures you can rent an ATV so that you can join in on all the fun in the desert hills."
